ARCAD is launched
Agropolis Resource Center for Crop Conservation, Adaptation and Diversity is a multi-function resource center for agricultural biodiversity, based in Montpellier, France. ARCAD is jointly developed by some of France’s leading agricultural science establishments, including CIRAD, INRA, IRD, and Montpellier SupAgro that signed a consortium agreement in October 2009.
