By 2016, ARCAD will provide technological platforms for conservation, characterization, cryopreservation,  DNA banking / genotyping for the following species: rice, sorghum, cotton, fonio, pearl millet, tropical forest species, corn, durum wheat and Medicago truncatula. Other seed species will be gradually integrated. Thanks to a FEDER – UE grant, the platforms are progressively set in place in the labs of the consortium members. Tests are ongoing to define adapted protocols and procedures for these platforms.
